Electrical Engineer – Digital Design
CoachComm, LLC is looking for a full time Electrical Engineer to work with a team of other electrical, mechanical, PCB, and firmware engineers to develop and maintain embedded electronic designs for new and existing products.
This position would be responsible for the design, test, and documentation of electronic hardware. Tasks would include: hands-on electronic hardware design, development, testing, and troubleshooting; schematic capture; peer review panels; support of other hardware products.
The successful candidate will have experience with microprocessors and other embedded components and systems and will be able to use typical hardware troubleshooting equipment -- emulators, meters, scopes, hand tools, etc. An aptitude for soldering, building, and assembling would be most helpful.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, etc)
Some experience with digital/microprocessor-based hardware design
Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience
Any of the following would be considered a plus:
Digital audio experience – CODECs, DSPs, ADC/DAC, G.729.
CPLD and/or FPGA – designing with or programming
TI, Freescale, and Microchip tools and environmentsSurface mount soldering skills on TSSOP and QFN
High speed digital bus design
All experience levels will be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
