After a year of using the previous coaching staffs’ headsets, head coach Chris Brown had enough and decided that he needed something better, something more reliable, and something he was more comfortable using. In 2012 Coach Brown and Fort Hays State University chose CoachComm and the Connex headset system for their gameday communication needs. Their previous system wasn’t getting the job done and just plain wasn’t working at all. The ease-of-use of a system and the ability to go full duplex with the entire coaching staff was a must have for them. Coach Brown had used Connex at a previous school and he knew the quality and clarity he would be getting with a CoachComm headset system.

“CoachComm has good customer service and you can always add-on to this set while still having full duplex.  The ability to upgrade to the Tempest FX system is also enticing.”

With CoachComm’s trade-up program from Connex to Tempest FX, schools and universities at all levels have the capability to tradein their Connex for a D-I quality system. Although the Tigers are off to a slow start this year, CoachComm’s Connex headset system is one less thing that Coach Brown and his staff have to worry about on gameday.
