“As a Head Coach you are always searching for a way to give your team an advantage, and I am certain that our decision to purchase CoachComm’s Tempest FX Headsets was an investment that helped our team to have that advantage over every one of our opponents,” says Helias Catholic High School Crusaders Coach Phil Pitts. The Crusaders know something about having the advantage over their opponents. In the past seven seasons, Helias has made the playoffs every year and has played in three state title games. They’ve won two State Championships, in 1984 and 1998, and finished second in the state in 1973, 1999, 2008, 2009, 2012, and 2013.
Prior to the State Championship game this season, Helias players carried some impressive stats, having returned sixteen starters from last season. Helias Quarterback Wyatt Porter threw for 2,687 yards and 34 touchdowns. Tight End Hale Hentges caught 59 passes for 875 yards and 14 touchdowns. Running Back Garrett Buschjost rushed for 1,659 yards and 30 touchdowns.
The Crusaders are a proud member of the CoachComm Tempest FX family. “The sound is crystal clear and guaranteed to work in every venue! On game day, communication was something that we never had to worry about and CoachComm’s customer service is second to none! In the world of football there are so many things that can change, but the Tempest FX Headsets and CoachComm are guarantees that will forever be a part of the Helias Football Family!”
