The Prattville High School football program is very successful and well known in Alabama. The Lions earned Regional Champion titles in 1983, 1990, 1996, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011. They were State Playoff Champions in 1984, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2011. In Prattville, football is more than just a game. The whole community comes together to support their school and its athletes. Each Friday night when the Lions are playing at home, you’ll find the stadium filled with their families, friends, and many of the city’s residents. Prattville High School has been playing football for nearly a century. In 1983, the Lions made their first playoff appearance and then won their first Regional Championship. In 2006 and 2007, Prattville had record-setting 15-0 seasons, also setting a record of 30 consecutive wins, and a state record of 56 consecutive regular season wins.

“In a sport where game management is crucial, having tools that simulate this aspect is very important. Tempo is just that and is everything that CoachComm has advertised it to be.”

Prattville purchased Tempo this Fall from CoachComm. CoachComm’s Tempo system is a state-of-the-art practice management system designed to enhance practice
through choreographed music and sound, communications, and clock control. Coach Anderson and his staff build practice scripts with music and sounds that are customized to each individual period. Prattville’s coaches use Tempo’s remote while on the field to change or reset periods when needed. They’re able to easily go to the next period, add or take away time from an existing period, start and stop play clocks, or sound the air horn while moving on the field. They also use their headsets to speak to other coaches and players through the system, making it much easier to communicate in an already noisy environment.
Regarding his experience with Tempo, Coach Anderson said, “In a sport where game management is crucial, having tools that simulate this aspect is very important. Tempo is just that and is everything that CoachComm has advertised it to be.”
